4-hour 10 a.m. and 3-hour 2:30 p.m.
trips
are available every day.
4-hour 9 a.m. & 3-hour 1:30 p.m. trips and
8-hour 8 a.m. trips are available on some days.
For best viewing conditions we recommend the
four-hour morning tours, which provide more
time to spend with the whales and dolphins, in
addition to increasing chances of encountering
rarer wildlife such as orcas and blue whales.

To sign up for a scheduled Monterey Bay Whale Watch trip or a Private Charter, click on "Book Online Now!" below and you'll be able to select the type of tour you want and the date.
On selected trips we are offering premium upper deck seating on the 65-foot catamaran, the Blackfin. Upper deck seating is not guaranteed for those reservations, in case it is necessary to change to another vessel. Due to passenger availability and CDC regulations, we may use our other main vessel with one deck on the day of your trip, in which case you will receive a refund of the difference in price between the upper deck seating and lower deck seating.
There are two ways to select your trip after clicking on "Book Online Now!" -
(1)
Search by trip type: Select "View" for the type of tour you're interested in, then "Book" to book the tour you want. Select the date for your tour, then enter the number of adults, children and infants.
(2) Search by date - Select the date in the 'Search by date' bar near the top right. All open trips offered on that date will be listed.
Note that your credit card will be billed when you make the reservation, and a 6% Booking Processing fee will be added to all purchases. (This is a change from our previous policy.) You will
receive an e-mail confirmation of your reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation email message within 24 hours, please send an email message to mbww@gowhales.com or call us at 831-375-4658.
Please submit your reservation as early as possible, as trips can be
sold out.
If a particular trip date and time is marked sold out and you cannot
make the other available time(s) for your chosen day, then you can check
later to see if there have been cancellations.
To cancel, please call at least 24 hours in advance.

| Note: Cheesemans' Ecology Safaris and Happywhale sponsor the Special 10 a.m. trips on the following Sundays in 2024: March 24, May 19 and June 9. The guest naturalist will be Ted Cheeseman, whose topics will include his PhD research on Humpback Whales. These trips are open to everyone. |
